Divine Intervention
"Jesus Christ!" he swore under his breath, his hands practically tearing out his hair. "I've studied hard for this! I really did!" John keeps telling himself as he stared panic stricken at his examination papers. Morality was a good thing. He thought. Now isn't really the time for it. He had never been a devout catholic, he never been to church for the earlier part of the year and he didn't care if what he was going to do was wrong... because it is all for a good cause. It was her, sitting to the right, that innocent girl in the class. Those papers on her table were so tempting, it must have been a divine sign from God. As he was about to try, descrepently to take a peak. Lord forbid, just one answer will save me! He thought. As if his mind was read like an open book, the sinister invigilator hooded in black pierced the innocent appearance on John's face. And he prayed. "Oh God no. I can't fail this. I'm sorry I've not been a faithful believer... I... I just..." As he looked up, the world around him faded slowly to grey. There was not a single whisper, no scratching of pens on paper. It was silent. Not a single figure moved. A small hole appeared in the ceiling of the examination hall, as a heavenly light pour down upon his table through it. He could see the skies and it was clear. A solemn hymn began softly, as a lone white dove descend from above. Upon its beak it carried an answer script which was laid gently upon its table. Taking his script in exchange, the dove returned from whence it came. John was filled with the greatest happiness in the world. He is a living witness of a miracle. He placed his name upon the new answer script and soon tears of joy begin to well up in his eyes... BAM! The hooded invigilator stood before him, a stern face vilified with conviction and spoke, "hah, you cheater! I knew you'll ask god for help." *lol* somebody say pwned pls =) -------------------- Credit: Abraham, Yihau, Desmond
Gullible Proof?
Welcome to another week of ranting or so till my exams are over in 5 days time. I was out surfing the high voltage waves of the information superhighway when I came across this question, "How gullible are you?". I thought it was amusing to see what these people were up to, so I went to try it out and here is what I got. Your Gullible Factor score is 82. (Out of a range of 0 - 100, where 0 = mind slave, and 100 = free thinker.) Free Thinker Welcome to the top 5%. You're a true free thinker and a person who is well informed about the reality in which you live. Although you may have been easily manipulated earlier in life, you eventually gained lucidity and developed a healthy sense of skepticism that you now automatically apply to your observations and experiences. You are endlessly curious about human behavior and the nature of the universe, and you have one or more lifestyle habits that most people would consider odd or unusual. You are not only of very high intelligence, you are also extremely creative in one or more areas (music, art, software development, inventing, etc.) If you were in The Matrix, you would have taken the red pill, completed the combat training, and started fighting (and beating) agents from day one. Your architects: You have cast off reality distortions taught to you by your parents, schooling, corporate advertising and government propaganda. You create your own beliefs based on what serves you best, without much regard for what the rest of the crowd is doing. You are guided by your own internal code of ethics (which may or may not agree with politically-correct ethical codes) rather than any pre-set system of ethics (such as from any one religion). -------------------- Alright thats all for this week!
Battle lust
In a day's time, a great battle will commence; one that will determine how prepared I am for the great war. My mind longs for the burnt graphite and wood, and my soul seeks the pleasure of battle. To be standing amongst the endless carnage sends swirling intoxicating emotions through my heart. It is said that before a battle, one's mind would become placid, emotionless, and calm. The preparation of the soul for blood lust is taining, but necessary in order to survive. I wish all the best to those who are part of this war of wits and knowledge, the might of the pencil be with you, have no fear and god shall smile upon you. Move into the fray with honor and courage, never falter in the face of adversity, and fight till your last dying breath, for no quarter shall be given and you shall give none in return. Expect no mercy and show no mercy. This is not our time to die, it is theirs, so let them come I say, and let them flood, for we shall stand our grounds and push forward to victory! May the lord have mercy upon us all. -------------------- I apologise for this rant, its just a spur of "creativity" before my exams =)
